100% disk usage

Hi, nerds 

 

my hdd is on 100% disk usage after i upgraded the mobo and cpu to a new one. What sould i do to fix it, maybe update the sata driver on my motherboard, or something else

you don't know how to wait or? let the machine run for a while and see if the usage calms down

it calm down after 1-3 minutes

ok well is it a regular hard drive being used as an os drive? becuase that would be expected for it to be at 100% usage quite often.

but mine does quiet often but after the 1-3 minutes my pc use max 50% and its rarely

it's a 2.5" 5.4k rpm hdd with 750 gb and i have a process named bdagent.exe and it use a lot of my hdd procentage too but not as much.

ok thats going to be a very slow drive for windows 10 and it's expected a drive like that would have a very high usage %

I can;t imagine that would help, you can try but that drive is inherently slow for even a budget system.
