So boots then crash and boot loop?  Ugly. Windows boots after bios boots and runs on top of it. Does this also happen with other OSes or just (I am assuming) windows? I ask trying to figure out if this is a hardware or software thing. A lot of people won’t even read a post that has no hardware data because a lot of the time knowing what the hardware is drastically shortens diagnosis. It could be useful to read the pinned posts in the troubleshooting section about what kind of information is generally needed. “PC” is incredibly vague.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
