Want to build a pc before I go back to school, this is my first time trying to build a pc.

Budget (including currency): $650

Country: U.S.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Genshin impact, Apex, minecraft, Warzone, some video editing (cinematography) and school work

Other details: Im a casual player, play everyday for about an hour or two. Currently using a laptop just for work and some editing (though its starting to age). Would like to play 1080p high 60fps. I would like this pc to last as long as it can mostly because I can't get school work done at home on my laptop as it dies very frequently. Saved up almost a year but after pc parts started going up I decided to delay my build. If parts can be replaced for better ones at a similar price and if they are compatible please feel free to list your suggestions.

This list is just my rough sketch on what I could find that I think would be good.

CPU - Ryzen 5 4560G

Motherboard - Asus prime b550

RAM - DDR4 (2x8GB) 3600MHz

PSU - 500 watt thermaltake smart

Case - Darkflash DLM22

Not too sure on if I could put a GPU in for this budget/ build but would like to, not too sure on storage either.

The 5600g is cheaper. I changed the motherboard to support bios flashback. It has WiFi, and if you didn't need WiFi, you could step down to the non wifi model. This would save the $20 to bring it back down to your budget. I added a 500 gig M.2. At this price and with what GPU prices are right now, you'll struggle to fit a GPU in this build. Better off saving for when the prices go back to normalish.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.
