I have a Ryzen 5 build with a RX 580x. I built it a couple years ago but due to work and school haven't turned it on in two months.

When I boot the computer up it will boot up with no issue but a couple seconds after I get to the log in screen it flickers twice then the screen displays a black screen. I have gotten by the log in screen a couple times when trying to solve the issue and within a couple seconds it does the same thing on the home screen, flickers twice and goes black. It doesn't turn the display output off, its just a black video output. I have tried to reset the BIOS, reinsert the graphics card, and memory. Where should I go from here?

Also it does this in Safe mode.

Try a different pcie slot to rule out the pcie slot.

If you happen to be able to get another gpu, or you got a cool friend who will bring over theirs, get another gpu in there and test if it still black screens. If it does it's probably not a gpu issue, if it doesn't black screen then I hope you're in the rma window for your gpu.
