Any plans to overclock? If not, intel has pretty good value CPU's right now. You try this build around the same price:

You can swap the cooler with anything you want. If you want the best gaming CPU, the 5800X is a beast. Also, you can consider getting 32GB of RAM. I hear it helps with streaming having some RAM head room.

I don't really have any plans to overclock atm no, but depending on how I'm feeling once I do get this PC then maybe. I'll have a better look at the Intel CPU's, I've mostly stuck looking at the AMD CPU's as they tend to, from all the data that I've seen, do better for cheaper.

The 5800X does look like an absolute unit of a CPU, however, I think it'll probably be overkill for my first build. It's in my radar if I ever upgrade in the future.

I'll stay at 16GB of RAM for the time being as almost everything I've read or seen about RAM says that anything more than 16GB is usually just too excessive for any casual gamer or streamer. If I decide to end up streaming properly and consistently then I probably will.

Yea, that was true about a year ago so most info out there is a little out of date. When AMD beat Intel with their 5000 series, it pretty much flipped around. Currently Intel 10 series (sometimes 11 series) is more of the value one where 5000 series is the premium. I'm sure they'll keep switching position over the years to confuse us some more XD.

Although there is only really single digit percent performance difference between them, so you can't really go wrong with either.
