So just kinda as a refresher for me whats the way to go about OCING? I usually put the clock i would like to achieve and a voltage and then work with the voltage until its stable. Is this the correct way to do it?

 

 

Also i think i might have a applied a bit to much thermal paste because im idling at 27C and at load 55C with stock adaptive voltage and stock multiplier.

55C is great for a 4770k and an h100i. I wouldn't worry about that. There are some great guides, including one that Linus made on how to overclock Haswell.

Its 55C at 3.5Ghz, is that still good?

 

Somebody told me there getting 47C with a Hyper 212 EVO @ 4.4Ghz on a 3750K

Your temps are looking good, assuming they are core temps. I don't know about that 47 C @ 4.4 GHz....

 

Yes, your overclocking way is the basic way to go about it. I guess an alternative method would be to set a certain voltage you are comfortable with and try pushing the clocks as far as you can.

 

I usually just set some clock and voltage, try if it works. I then do very quick test runs (like 2mins) with OCCT/Prime95 with very bold changes to the voltages etc and repeat to get a rough idea of what might work. In the last phases I usually stress test few hours, if it was stable just add like 0,010 V to the voltage and call it done.
