Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980Ti Salvageable or not?

Basically I purposely bought a defect Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980Ti off Tradera (Swedish Ebay) thinking I could fix it. At first glance I didnt rly see any problems on the board itself so I proceeded to order isopropylalcohol, new thermal pads aswell as thermal paste. Now today cleaning the card from previous owners horrible thermal pad job I noticed its real bad and probably very hard to save this card. I suspect one of the VRAM chips are fried aswell as the capacitors around it. Then another capacitor has like the bottom end "fallen out" (idk how to explain in English)

Replacing VRAM = Impossible right?

And the capacitors is just insanely hard.

Is it even worth trying or do I resell it to some other guy that thinks he can save it just like I thought I could?

It does look like a lot of the VRAM is damaged, replacing VRAM can be done but is very difficult. It's not worth it with the burst capacitors too, unfortunately the card is dead.

Or you could say the buck stops here and dispose of it.

Alright so its doomed and I lost about 100$. No biggie I guess but next time I wont buy without knowing the specific details
