Lately my PC has started behaving odd. I'll be playing games, searching the Web, or even just navigating windows and the entire PC will freeze for a few seconds (sometimes it feels like 30 of hang time).

I've done a complete reinstall of windows  ensured my drivers are up to date and updated my motherboard bios to the latest version.

Most of my hardware is new as of November 2020 (excluding my hard drives) and my specs are as follows:

  • Motherboard - Gigabyte B550 Vision D
  • GPU - Gigabyte Vision 3080
  • CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
  • CPU Cooler - Galahad AIO 240
  • PSU - Seasonic GX-850
  • RAM - Vengeance Pro 2x8 gb 3600mhz
  • HDD1 - ADATA Premier SP610 246gb
  • HDD2- Gigabyte GP- SM2NE3100TNTD

I did monitor my PC via task manager and noticed my read write drops to 0 for both when my PC freezes. Does this mean one of my Hard Drives is failing?
