Looking for a school laptop around the 700$ AUD range

My laptop just broke for school and im looking for a new one, just needs to do basic school stuff, so word, chrome and have a decent battery life. Ive got a budget of 700$ AUD

The HP 14s-dq2056TU at JB is $699 and should be fine for what you want. Not an amazing laptop by any means but at your budget it'll be as about as good as you can get unless you get a pre-owned one. 

 

It's got 8Gb of RAM which should be more than enough for word and internet usage, an SSD so it should run pretty smooth. The only thing will be if you start multitasking a bit it might slow down a bit as it's only got a 2 core CPU. It's got Iris graphics though which means light graphics intensive things should be capable. And as an around HP laptops are usually reliable.
