I just bought a prebuilt with a gigabyte b450 m s3h wifi, a Ryzen 7 3700x and a gigabyte oc rtx 3070 I play fortnite. And it’s completely unplayable at 240 FPS with insane lag. (I do have a 240 monitor as well) anytime a fight happens or I look in a certain directions or try to build in a flash it lags to the point when it comes back I’m dead. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I got better frames with a 1660s. I’m losing my mind. I also stream this game for a living but it does this on or off stream for the last 5 days causing me to lose viewers etc. I’ve benchmarked the card and it will go all the way to 100% I don’t know what’s wrong, also played apex legends and seemed to run fine with no lag between 80/90% usage no issues, all temps are fine clean ddu unistall and driver reinstall, so confused and stuck here. i need a fix FAST

Losing viewers because of lag?  First world problems...lol

Try only using one monitor and see if it still happens.  If you can't fix it, reinstall windows.

Maybe the game is not stressing your gpu enough to kick it into full clock speed, so when things start happening it is jumping between clocks alot.
Try to cap your FPS or increase quality settings.
Also check your wifi doesn't have high packet loss and disable cpu power saving features.

unsure of psu its not really marked, the reviews just say 800 gold 3200mhz corsair vengeance ram rgb

if you're unsure of psu then you can be sure it is most likely the problem.

can you show photo of it?

edit- forgot its a new pre built so should come with suitable power supply. open up task manager and check for background cpu usage
