Question connecting two access points wirelessly

In one of the Shortcircuit episodes about an Asus router there was a comment about "using half the 5g spectrum to connect two access points as a carrier backhaul"

 

I was hoping someone here would have more info about setting up that specific setup.

Just sounds like the Asus "AI Mesh" technology.  You just need routers that support it.
