PC compatibility

I built a PC not my first time building one but the first for this level of hardware. 
I had an issue with the first psu I bought where a capacitor shorted and then blew up causing smoke and all that.

hardware list:

asus Maximus 12 hero Wi-Fi 

intel core i9 10850k

Corsair Dominator 16x4 

Asus 3080 oc strix 

silver stone sf1000

kraken Z73

lian li sl120 fans 

lian li O11 dynamic mini

now I received a new psu and then my entire computer would not boot giving me a red indicator next to the 24 pin. Before this while I was waiting for a new psu to be sent I connected a older one I had and it all worked. Is their a problem with this brand of psu or this one in particular and if so does anyone have a recommendation on a good SFX or SFX-L psu that can power this system.

 

just for a precaution i RMA the Motherboard, CPU and PSU
