Hey, so if anyone knows more than power supplies than i do i would really appreciate some help. i wanna upgrade my power supply but am unsure if i should go for the C-Series NZXT unit or the XPG core reactor series. both seem to be solid units but i want to know if one is inherently better.

i did a little bit of research and apparently the NZXT one has less than 70% efficiency at a 2% load and bad transient response at 3.3v. the XPG seems to be able to mantain a low temperature too at Load. the super flower PSUs seem to also rival the NZXT C series units. the only PSUs i dont trust are the smart series PSUs because they are just so bad. i have had one kill my 3tb WD purple.

XPG Core Reactor has a decent CWT platform that's better than the Seasonic Focus based NZXT C-series.

yeah thats what i found in my research. that the seasonic platform underperforms in some cases. would you happen to know anything about the superflower ones?

They're comparable. Get the cheapest. Personally I like the fanswitch on the Leadex with 3 settings: semi-fanless, silent and perfomance.

the Core reactor will actually be fanless at idle and is like a little cheaper so i might go for that one.
