Budget (including currency): 2,000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: playing and streaming COD, Valorant, Minecraft, Phasmophobia, FNAF, CSGO

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Is this build balanced? Is there anything I should change? Is the incompatibility issue with the motherboard and the cpu something I should worry about?

1. Buy Windows 10 Home instead of Pro, unless you will actually use the features of Pro.

2. The 980 Pro is overpriced as fuck. Get an SN550 or Sabrent Rocket Q instead.

3. Trident Z Royal is also really expensive. T-Force Vulcan Z will have a slightly lower CAS latency (which is better) and $50 cheaper for the same speed and capacity.

4. Power supply is overkill. This is more of a 650W system, unless you did that for future upgradeability.

This is a balanced system overall. You could probably bump down to a 10600K and still be more than fine, but the 3060 Ti is a solid card and the 10700K leaves you plenty of room for future GPU upgrades.

also, for some reason the hard drive is 180 dollars?!?! Here is the one they should get https://pcpartpicker.com/product/mwrYcf/seagate-barracuda-computer-2-tb-35-7200rpm-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm008

980 pro is pcie 4.0 and the 10700k doesn't even support pcie 4.0

Finally, the 212 evo will probably be a little bit weak for the cpu they are going to get, I would get a Scythe Fuma 2 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/YsHRsY/scythe-fuma-2-5117-cfm-cpu-cooler-scfm-2000

Holy shit, how did I miss that? Paying that much for a 2TB HDD is criminal!

I was also going to say this, but honestly if OP is fine with sort of high noise, it will be fine. The Fuma 2 is a great choice though, only a little more expensive.

If I get the hard drive I picked for 50 bucks off newegg, is it okay? Also, could you send a link to a ssd you recommend? thanks

If you get a 7200 RPM 2TB drive for $50, it is quite reasonable, I would go ahead and purchase.

I would recommend an SN550 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/BhmFf7/western-digital-blue-sn550-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-wds100t2b0c (currently out of stock on newegg but in stock on amazon)

This is a really good list for your needs cause you stream

Not gonna make a pcpartpicker of my own cause i dont see any major improvements that can be made other than 4tb hdd and a cheaper mesh case but those are just minor improvements .-.
