Hello everyone, I'm looking to buy an expansion card to add more usb ports. My motherboard is an Asus Tuf x570-pro and I was looking this card on Aliexpress https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005001732174294.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000014.25.624915ecmQPE5v
The thing is I wanted to ask if anyone could explain me how the bandwith will work connecting the card to a PCIe x1,  if anyone know it could work with PICe 4.0, and how does the internal usb and the 19 pin intreface should work. Sorry for my bad English.

That is simply a USB hub that fits into an expansion slot. It doesn't connect through PCIe at all.

The pictures of this card do not have any pins populated on the PCIe connection. I would be very cautious buying this. That being said, your x16PCIe 4.0 slot will support a 1x PCIe of any version, but not PCI

Thanks, I didn't notice that detail.

I understand now how it works.

How does the 19 pin conector works? it's to add more usb? or it's coneccted to a similar port in my motherboard? and how much bandwith has the card?

So think of it this way. Your system has USB control hub. The USB control hub will always be limited to what it can do no matter how many USB connections you have.

Think of it this way. Lets say the USB control hub can handle 10 Gbs of data transfer at one time. If you have one device using up all 10 Gbs your fine, or you could have 2 devices doing 5Gbs and so on. You can add more usb ports to have more devices connected at one time, but you will still be limited to what your control hub can handle.

In my instance, I needed USB to power things like a ring light, or charge my phone, etc. in this case data transfer doesn't matter.
