Hello guys, I'm having issues with my ram, I started crashing while playing games under wine, so I switched to windows but there too I started having BSODs, each time a different error, so I tested my ram with memtest86 from an usb drive and I got errors right from the first pass on test 7 8 9, I tried more than once and always got the same result. So I removed 1 stick and made 1 pass on it, no errors, exchanged it with the other, no errors, I put them back in in different slots and I got errors again, same tests, same addresses, same bit(s) in the data.

Also the kit is rated for 1.35V for the XMP profile, motherboard was giving 1.36V, I changed to 1.35 manually just 'couse but the errors are still there.

This is the summary from the html report:

This is a kit of 2x8gb (G Skill Intl / F4-3000C15-8GVGB) I haven't fully tested them individually since I have limited lifetime warranty and I would need to send them both for a RMA if it gets accepted by G.Skill.

Before I do so I have a question: any other test I can do on this hardware combo? Meaning before I look for someone that lets me test my ram in their systems and their ram in mine.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think I solved the issue. I remembered I updated my BIOS a few weeks ago so I tried to downgrade and it didn't help BUT I tested the ram without XMP and got no errors, so I updated the BIOS again, cleared CMOS, enabled XMP but lowered the speed from 3000 to 2933 (at this speed I never had issues) and now I can pass memtest86 full test without errors. PC hasn't crashed (yet).
