Disable USB power while off

Hello all,

I currently am using a gigabyte aorus z390 master and notice that when the computer is off, the USB ports remained powered on.

This causes my USB connected drive to remain on.

Does anyone know how to stop this behavior without using erp?

I can't use erp as I use wake on Lan.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is erp?

Stands for energy related products. It is a European directive to lower power consumption and on gigabyte boards or shuts off pretty much the entire board so it only consumes 1w when off.

Sadly it turns off the lan port and wake on Lan no longer works with it on.
