After looking about at what is available with the feature i want locally I decided on a ASUS TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS, Intel B560, Socket 1200 Motherboard for my next upgrade.

what i am looking for advice on is the CPU as there are a couple within my budget the 10500 and 10600k unfortunately the 11600 is just beyond what i am currently willing to spend.

The price difference between the 10500 and 10600k is around £10  the question i have is the performance uplift worth the almost doubling of the tdp and posibly having to add in the cost of a cooler upgrade. I dont plan to overclock as this is

a system to do editing on and will be running for 8 hours plus regularly doing this.

The difference between a 9400 and a 10500 is pretty miniscule, especially with the cost of a new board added in. You should probably just continue to save your money until you can afford a more substantial upgrade. The cost to performance increase is really imbalanced here.
