I've decided to create an account and make a post because I foresee this being an issue with alot of people and also because I'm sortve lost as to what I should do myself.

The issue doesn't directly lie with Win 11 but more the fact that countless people me included are unable to get our PCs to hit the BIOS splash screen when CSM is disabled and secure boot is enabled.

I've fully updated my BIOS my motherboard model is the Gigabyte B550M DS3H paired with a ryzen 5 3600.

The problem seems to lie with the motherboard for me, if I even disable CSM and secure boot then exit and discard my bios settings it still doesn't get to the splash screen that's how bugged it seems to be and it's a CMOS reset again to get it to boot. Many people are reporting this as far back as 3 years ago... Any help with steps to take would be well appreciated. Full specs as follows:

Ryzen 5 3600

Gigabyte B550m DS3H latest bios

32GB 3200mhz Corsair LPX

Gtx 1070

Adata sx8200 pro 1tb boot drive

Various other storage drives

To my knowledge isn't GPT the default that windows would format it in? I do remember this being an issue for old drives at my workplace when formatting them for win 10, however I don't actually get to the BIOS splash screen / I don't post  with secure boot enabled. Which probably means the problem lies in my BIOS settings. Correct me if I'm wrong but it would just post to the BIOS screen if it was a drive formatting problem
