Android recommendations?

This was your earlier post

You were recommended the Poco X3 NFC by someone, to which you marked as the solution.

How was that a failed attempt to get a recommendation?

I simply wanted more recommendations that I could check out and only received one. Which was helpful (that's why i marked it the solution) but when you're looking for something like a phone sometimes more options is better. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to ask twice.

Looking for a new phone around $200 (250 is my max). Trying to find something slightly better than my old phone (Redmi note 7).

-Performance is priority as well as a headphone jack and microSD.

-It would be nice to have 5g as well but that might be difficult at this price point.

-I'm looking for general recommendations so please don't ask me for specific sites as I'm not even sure yet. (tho if you know of good deals feel free to tell me!)

-I plan on buying it out right, not as a carrier deal.

I've tried searching on my own for awhile after a failed attempt at getting recommendations earlier but geez is shopping for phones difficult nowadays.😔
