I've been experiencing some problems with my computer lately. It freezes randomly, usually when using Google Chrome. Sometimes I can go 10 hours without it freezing, but sometimes I can't even go 5 minutes.

Mostly when watching youtube videos, it just freezes, the backlight on my computer turns off, and is completely inoperable.

My specifications for the computer are posted in my signature.

Thanks for the help.

See if you have multiple versions of flash running at the same time by going to about:plugins (just type it in the onmibar).
If you have the pepper one as well as a secondary one, disable the secondary. I don't know if this will solve your problem but it certainly solved a similar problem for me.

Some version of the nvidia display driver had random issue with online video playback with "pink screen of death" and freezing a pc. Since you are on the Radeon card, this might be totally unrelated but I'd still go for a driver update just to be sure. if the drivers are newest, try the beta ones or a previous version
