Game crashed

was playing watch dogs legion today having fun doing a mission and i noticed while i was driving the game stuttered then 5 seconds later it froze and crashed. just to be clear im not running any overclock or anything my pc is at stock settings and my temps are fine but what could be the issue? could it just be the game?
