Hi All

Im hoping I've posted this in the correct location.

So I'm moving into a new house next month which will have a spare bedroom that I can move my PC into upstairs. I used to have my PC in the same room as my main TV and so just had a long HDMI cable that I could drag any content I want over to the TV. This could of been Movies, Photos, web browsing/streaming or games(rarely)

Im looking for a solution in which I can replicate as much functionality I had with out needing to buy a new pc for next to the TV so ie extend/duplicate the desktop from my PC upstairs to the TV downstairs taking sound as well.

Some options I've looked into

I'm lucky to have cat6 ethernet throughout the house so I could use that and my PC currently has a GTX1660 Super if that helps in any of the streaming options.

Is there anyone that has experience of any of the above options or could suggest another option (or even two) that might be able to cover most bases

Thanks again

1.Your TV should have enough power to stream to it via WiFi, cable

Cable is better

There should be a TV app for it

That should make steam link obsolete

2. A very long hdmi cable
