Nicholas Rodriguez

Hey guys just grabbed a EVGA SuperNOVA 650 Ga, 80 Plus Gold 650W, and it’s my first time replacing my PSU so I’m just trying to figure out what cable did I missed is the reason why my pc isn’t turning on

I made sure that

  • Power cable to PSU in completely
  • Power switch in correct direction is fine
  • Power switch in correct header on Mobo i think is the problem because i made sure all the cables were connected but my power button cable is attach to this small brick where my fans and leds  are plugged up to

Did you try jump-starting the motherboard manually ? Without the 'small brick' ? Did you try to start the PSU alone ?

yeah, that's what I'm going to do when I get home. Im going to plug it directly into the wall and try to test it out to see if the fan would spin at least.
