a question regarding ram timings

hey guys i got a 16gb 2*8 3200mhz cl16 ram on sale and i plan on upgrading my mobo and cpu later
currently my main mobo is h170 and it only supports 2133 mhz frequency so i want to know if i can bring down the timings on my ram even further becasue its only running on 2133?
right now i have it on 14-14-14-34 is it safe?
