Temperature question.

Vixa.G

Hi, i have an old 980 TI, today i was using it at 99% for 15h+ but i had forgotten to uncap the afterburner fan limit, so it was spinning at 35%, now when i check the max temps were 85c, so do you think i may have damaged it? Usually i use it at around 70 to 75c max. Thanks.

Seems alright, but can't know for sure, as far as i know that 980 TI is designed to run up to 85 safely, so shouldnt be a problem but i am still worried. I have given it 83c limit and then it starts to bottleneck.

85c is far from the danger zone for a 980ti, you’re fine
