Computer Locking Up

Adam2021

Hey, there.

So recently, I've been having numerous issues that I did not encounter before upgrading or recently, including: blue screen of death a few minutes after boot sometimes, computer shutting down straight after boot sometimes and the main one is that I am not able to download a video or play a light game for 20 minutes without my computer locking up. My specifications is: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, MSI B450M Pro-M2 Max and MSI GTX 750 Ti. For the game problem, it worked before but now it doesn't. If you're thinking its temperatures, it could be but when I did a stress test a few weeks ago, it got to 80 degrees before locking up if that is relevant. I did another stress test the other day and it locked up at 78 degrees after 2 minutes. I used Prime95, I also stress tested other components like RAM and they came back with good results.

Specs:

PSU: Corsair CV650
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti
Motherboard: MSI B450M Pro-M2 Max
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz 8GB x2

Any help would be appreciated.

Max temp is 95 degrees celsius. You've got your IGP disabled properly?

Happy to help.

I think so, never had locking up issue until recently, but all the other issues have been present since I've upgraded.

When you changed all those parts, did you do a fresh install of your OS?

Happy to help.

Maybe try driver updates? My curiosity is piqued here.
