I recently got a ryzen 9 5900x (upgraded from ryzen 5 3600x) for my msi x 570 a pro motherboard. I updated the bios to the latest version per the msi official website (7C37vHD). How ever when I installed the 5000 series processor it only loaded into the bios menu and when I tried to load into windows and puts me right back into the bios. I took the ryzen 5000 series processor out and installed the 3000 series processor and it loaded into windows just fine. both times the bios recognized the correct processor so I am really confused, is the bios bugged? or did I get the wrong bios update?

Did you have bitlocker enabled on the built-in TPM?
