i have hyperx fury 8x2 3200mhz ram (new edition)

Mobo  aorus b560m pro

cpu i5 11400f

when i build pc 1 month back i enabled pre load XMP mode which runs in 3200mhz, today i thought i should over clock to 3600mhz,

when i did it didnt boot and showed BOOT failure detected so i loaded the optimized defaults settings ram up running on 2400mhz dual channel.

then i went back to bios for XPM to 3200mhz, it showing the same error,
ive tried the single stick both sticks runs 3200mhz when its in single slot, but when i use dual channel setup both in 1, 3 and 2, 4 slot it does not go beyond 2400mhz  what could be the issue here?

XMP can be rather unreliable at times and imo loading in "optimized default" cant really beat straight up resetting the BIOS to the factory setting by pulling out the CMOS battery or jumper. For XMP, try to dial in the same 3200 speed as the box says with the timing included, but bump up the voltage. Its simple way to circumvent any unstable memory issue.
