Other details

Case: Lian Li 011D Mini - Snow White

PSU: Seasonic Focus SGX-650 650w 80+ Gold SFX 12v/ATX 12v

Motherboard: ??

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

Mem: DDR4 3600 (havent decided on make or if RGB needed yet)

Storage: Samsung 860 or 970 EVO M.2 2280 1TB depending on price

GPU: RTX 3060 or 3070 depending on price and availability right now I would just use my old 580 that is still working good.

My issue is the motherboard, I'm leaning towards the MSI B550: tomahawk or Mortar\(wifi) which do not seem to be much different in their specs on their website, with exceptions of the peripherals that can be added. I'm just worried with the smaller case having the full atx board may have issues with connecting peripherals to edges of the board or routing cables eg: rgb or front panel cables, and SFX psu cables being shorter. Also putting case fans on the top of the case may be an issue with an atx board?

Are there any other recommended m-atx boards that you would recommend? I would like to make sure it has a front type C connector as well. I would like to stay below 250.00 or so Canadian, can be persuaded to go up to 280.00 or so if the board is worth the extra. I was hoping to do a white build but the cost vs white peripherals was not in the budget or at least for now.

Thanks for any help you can give..
