RYZEN 7 3700x Temperature Behavior

Go to solution Solved by Tegneren,

Yes, I saw the same on mine

Is this a normal pattern for the CPU temperature? (going from around 55c idle to 44c in a 10-15 second window, then spiking back up and repeating the process)

I think this is normal, but I am a little paranoid about my rig (I baby it a little too much).

I've had this CPU for about 8 months, just something that I ignored for a while. I've checked on it from now and then to make sure it's not running hot, but I never thought about the pattern. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something out of the ordinary.

Been spending the past hour carefully dusting it and looking at temps.
