So I hopped on Fortnite Ch2 S7 (sorry for fn haters) and firstly when getting into the game I got weird frames at one point even dropped to 1 frame. But as soon as you get started playing the game, frames do pick up. Any reason why the frames drop when I join? If you are wanting specs here:

the CPU is loading in all the assets. It takes more work to do it up front but then after it's all loaded the game runs smooth.

what speed is it running at?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

You're getting almost all you can out of the CPU then. If you upgrade your CPU you would probably lag a lot less at the start so next time you're planning an upgrade that would be the way to go
