Specs: Intel NUC BXNUC10i7FNH, 16GB Corsair RAM dual channel DDR4-2666, WD Black SN850 1TB, Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 2.5"

OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit

Issue...
After an OS update, one program I use a lot wasn't working.  I thought this might just be a corrupt update, but turns out this new build had large parts rewritren.  So I decided to jump back to Windows 8.1 Pro.  Thankfully, I had an unused copy.

I updated to the latest BIOS, to ensure everything would go as planned.  So I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Microsoft.  It went through with the product key.

But at the last bit of installation, it says that it could not update the BIOS' boot priority.  This sucked.  So I decided to enable legacy boot mode and see if it would install correctly.  To my surprise, it would not even post!  I plugged the keyboard into a different port, but nothing (I have a Logitech G213, so if the computer communicates with it, the RGB goes on).

So here I am, sitting with no computer, and my phone to post on the forums.

If anyone can help me that'll be great.  I read that you could reflash the BIOS using a jump pin on the inside, which I have no problem doing, I just need to be sure it'll keep my warranty intact and wipe all the old settings.

Sorry if there are any typos.  I'm sending this with my phone.

I'll do just that.  And you're sure it's not going to void my warranty?

I'm a student, and really can't afford to buy a new machine if anything does go wrong in its warranty period.

@MichaelMouton

Maybe start here:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000033291/intel-nuc.html

There's a lot of info on how to do a Bios recovery for the post-2019 NUCs.

It seems that you need another PC to write the Bios downloaded from Intel on a USB drive and use that to reflash the NUC.

Note: BIOS recovery using the BIOS security jumper will clear Trusted Platform Module (TPM) keys,
Intel® Platform Trust Technology (Intel® PTT) keys, and High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection
(HDCP) keys. These keys will not be restored after the BIOS recovery.

Is this anything to be concerned about?  This is from the BIOS-Recovery-NUC.pdf guide (from Intel's website).
