Hey! I made a part list and am ordering parts very soon, I just wanted to ask the more experienced community to see if anything is incompatible with anything. I am aware that the MoBo Bios might need updating, I know a guy with a Ryzen 3600X7 that i can use to update. Also I would like to know if there are any other case accessories that I should get other than the USB-C front panel port. Heres the link to the part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sC3pwz

I don't think you would need to worry about that if you went with a x570 mobo

Better version of the Arctic cooler with a 120mm fan.

Cheaper RGB Ram. You won't notice any performance difference with 3200 CL16.

I would go with the WD Blue SN550 instead if this is just a gaming pc.

The Lancool Mesh II has a better front panel vs the Lancool II-X. The additional Type C cable will still work.

The Corsair RM is fine, but the Enermax Revolution D.F 850W is slightly cheaper. You don't need 850W for this system but it won't do any harm to have the extra headroom.

great, thanks for the tips, not surprised that theres a better cooler, only picked that one because Arctic is a good brand and it was cheap. PSU upgrade will be good to give some headroom for upgrades.

You literally suggested the board with one of the worst VRM thermals, so not sure you are in any position to call me out.

Which gen 3 pc slot are you referring to ?

X570 uses a Gen4 chipset link, while B550 uses Gen3. That's because X570 has PCIe Gen4 lanes off of the chipset that are separate from the CPU's lanes, something B550 has 0 of

I think that you're confusing B550 with B450. B450 has no PCIe Gen4 lanes, But B550 and X570 do

So what ? Unless you plan on running more than one Gen 4 SSD then it makes no difference. The op has a Gen 3 SSD in his list. Try again.
