Maximus VI Formula audio Issues

So just recently it seems as if my onboard audio has gone to shit. The sound has become way louder and more distorted at the same settings as I had previously been using. The sound I am getting is very "tin can" like and positional audio in games such as CS:GO has gone to shit as well. I have tested it with both my Beyerdynamic MMX300's and Steelseries Siberia V2's and both have the same result. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?

Try updating the BIOS in addition to what spooty said

double check and make sure no effects got turned on (eq, dolby, etc.)

Will work for electronic components and parts
