10700 or 11700

I can get the 11700 for 30$ more than the 10700. Is it worth it if i'm mainly gaming on my computer? I already bought my motherboard which is a z490 msi gaming edge wifi (it fully supports pcie 4.0 with a bios update).

If you can update BiOS, get the 11700, if you cant, get the 10700, as you will need to update BiOS to use the 11700

Yeah i don't have a previous gen cpu to update the bios and only high end z490 mobos have a bios flashback button so i'll stick with the 10700 thanks!
