RAM problem, single to dual

Hey, I recently bougth a new PC but it came with single chanel RAM setup. So I tried to put it in dual but when I did so (or so I think), the PC would not boot and the DRAM LED would light up.

Can anyone help me please?

 

MB - MSI B550 tomahawk

RAM - corsair vengeance rgb pro 32 GB 3600 MHz

CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700x

Well it came with the two nearest to the CPU slots occupied (1,2 I guess), then I moved it to 2, 4 and it would not boot. I am a beginner in this type of things, as you can tell.  

 

After closer look: first MMA 1 and MMA 2, then MMA 2 MMB2

From the user's manual

 

You dont need to use the jumper cap, just shorting the two pins with something made of metal would do (say, tip of a screwdriver)

Thank you, so i should switch the slots then short the JBAT1 then turn it on, right?

Will it affect anything else? 

Also is it safe to do it with the scredriver?
