Windows Update :(

Ok so i have a problem. One of my friends' computers was randomly crashing on him for a while, so after we determined it wasnt a hardware problem we reinstalled windows. But now windows update isnt letting us install anything. The error code it gives us is  0x80070020. Any help is appreciated!!
