Weird connection issues

I've been having issues with PC's connection through LAN. A lot of times it would say that I'm not connected to the internet (in Genshin, as well as VALORANT) while I'm still in a discord call.  
I've tried looking for new drivers for my network adapter etc, but nothing seems to fix it.  I suspect that its my LAN Cable, since I accidentally crushed it a few days ago, by accidentally placing it in one of the table's legs. But since it connected fine after the incident, I didn't think much about it afterwards. Could it also be my Motherboard? or is it the cable?

Any response would be very helpful. Thanks in advance and sorry if my english is bad since I dont speak english in a daily basis.

Your English is fine.

Network cables are pretty resistant to damage, but it's possible this could be an issue.

There are several things you can try

 

(1) Replace the cable

(2) When the game says you are not connected, run the Ping command and ping something like google or the game servers, see if you get a response.
