Samson SR850?

So my Siberia V2s are starting to cut out (cord abuse :S) and I'm in the market for a new headset, or more preferable headphones (I have a Blue Yeti)

 

Budget is about $60. I've heard really good things about the JVC HARX700 and the Samson SR850.

 

I've heard however, that the JVC doesn't have a very large soundstage, and that they look ridiculous. So I've kinda been looking towards the 850, especially since they're on discount today for $40.

 

However the only thing I'm worried about is comfort. There looks to be no padding on the headband. I'm wondering how comfortable they'll be, as I'll be doing gaming for hours on end with them.

I would go the Samsons for sure. You won't beat them at that price point. I wouldn't worry to much about the headband, its mainly if the pad around the ear is crap that you will notice discomfort.

Very similar but i would say switch it to the Superlux 668b if they are the same price where you are.
