need help with a new cpu

Ryzen 5 2600 + B450 mobo + 2x4GB DDR4
i5-8400 + B360 mobo + 2x4GB DDR4

so for a while now ive been running with a ntel Xeon X3470  2.93GHz on a MSI 2A9C  mobo my specs really arnt the best but i wanted to play escape from tarkov which recommends :Intel Core i5, i7 3.2 GHz or AMD FX, Athlon 3.6 GHz  ow obviously at this moment iam running ddr3 parts so if anyone could help me find a cpu that is on par with these ones for ddr3 it would be really appreciated.

i7-4790K is the fastest DDR3 compatible CPU. But DDR4 is getting cheap. I would recommend going with a new system.

and you gonna need a good z series mobo for overclocking

thankyou man ye i does seem cheaper but since i have ddr3 its so much effort to get out of like rn with my parts im gonna have to get a whole new set up including a new tower i think the only think i can keep is my gpu. thanks for your help though i am gonna work towards getting a new set up

No problem and you can sell your ddr3 so you can save some money for your new build but if you wanna keep the ddr3 it will be hard to find a good z mobo for that cpu
