Weird audio problem

Hello friends! I am in urgent need of help!

I am about to play with a few friends, talking via discord.

They can hear me perfectly clear, but I can't hear them.

When I go to windows settings to test my microphone, I can't hear that either.

I have sound both in game, discord sound, youtube, spotify and everywhere else. I just can't hear them OR my own microphone, when I test it.

I have tried restarting my pc, I have tried reinstalling my soundcard driver, pulling my USB soundcard out and plug it back in.

I can't seem to find any help anywhere, and this is the first time having this problem.

I am using a Sennheiser Game Zero with the Asus U5 USB soundcard.

I reinstalled Discord, and for some reason that worked. Have no idea why though.
