Legit any B550 and X570 motherboards at this point. I'd recommend ASRock and MSI.

It'll depend on how new the board is. Is it new enough that is comes shipped with an updated BIOS? Then yes. I don't mean new as in "came out today" I mean new as in "Manufactured today".

Why not just get a board based on features that you want/need and then update with a USB stick if it needs updating? Makes more sense to get something you want and will use the features of than get something for 5 minutes of convenience. 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.
