Budget (including currency): €400-500 (can push this a little if really needed)

Country: Ireland

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light gaming like Stardew Valley or Undertale, Minecraft at most. I don't expect to run AAA games on it. Music editing. Light video editing (?). College work/writing. Basic streaming  - VTuber esque systems that require a facecam (this isn't a dealbreaker and can be excluded if needs be!)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm a total newbie at this - I know the basics of building a PC - I've watched AustinEvans and Linus for some time now, but like, in terms of peripherals, I'm perfectly fine with a standard monitor. Due to limited space I'll only ever be able to really accommodate one monitor. I don't have a monitor currently, nor do I have a good mouse and keyboard, the ones I have are decent, but some nicer ones would be a bonus! I have a headset.

Heyo!

I'm new to the whole building area and haven't a clue really, bar the few attempts I made when I was in my earlier teens to draw up plans for a computer.

In terms of this computer, it's really a daily driver with some extras, yknow? Like, it's for me to do college work at home, as well as leisure, music editing, light gaming etc. My budget/wants may be very unrealistic so please do tell me if it is, or advise otherwise! I'd appreciate it a lot!

Unfortunately space is limited here too as I'm working from a small bedroom, so maybe something of a micro tower would be more appropriate, but I will leave that to you guys! RGB isn't a deal breaker and I can certainly live without.

Thank you and stay safe!

Indigo

P.S. do I also have to buy an operating system or...?
