Hello Guys,

I need help choosing a PSU for this build. The problem for me is that I don't know:

          -How many watts I need

-What are reliable brands to buy from

-Choosing between the Bronze certification through Platinum Certification

I went to this site to put in my information to find out what I need for power, but have gotten 2 different answers on how much I need (741 first time, 811 second time) and still have not found a place to put in my rad information. If someone could help me find the power supply I need, that would be great.

Thats mindless overkill for a 780ti + 4770k. Just a simple seasonic based 650W will do.

Doesn't hurt to get something that can support more, makes upgradability better and may in fact be more efficient in power draw/usage.

I guess 750W would be just fine too, OP for reliable brands just look at what customer reviews say, If you look online you'll find a bunch of reliable PSU brands.

A bigger psu's efficiency will be worse with the parts he has. It doesnt make anything better other than giving you the option to SLI a 2nd 780ti but most of the time you see them not even doing SLI and buying a new card instead.

Ahh but that depends on the PSU your talking about. If its got a good efficiency rating it could in fact save you more power than a lower wattage PSU that doesn't draw power efficiently.
