Hey all,

I'm a dedicated gamer and software dev and I wanted to get some feedback on a business idea I had.

As a student I could barely afford the computer I was using for homework much less a gaming rig. I want to provide an alternative option for those in similar situations. I would like to rent out VMs on a subsciption based or pay-as-you-go model that the average consumer could use easily so long as they had a decent internet connection. Because they would be VMs each user could have their own installed apps and not be locked to one service for their games or have to double the cost to pay for 2 subs at a time. With how computing has changed recently I am unsure if there would be any interest in the project. Any feedback and poll results are welcome.

Cheers!

So essentially you're trying to rent a virtualized gaming rig that doubles for work and play? Instead of having something like an Azure or AWS VM and a Geforce Now subscription.
