hard drive problem

had a hd with linux on it till it crashed and corrupted... then grub happened and i mounted the wrong partition (i think)........ switched the hd for another... but i still have this hd with 250gb....would like it for other uses....sooooooo in windows 10, i tried formating it in disk management but i dont have the option to, nor does it appear in "my pc"

 

please help

Shut down, change to a different SATA port on the motherboard, reboot and check again.

 

For clarification it appears in Disk Management but not in File Explorer?

TRIED THE CABLES TRICK (sorry) it said "attempting to boot from hard drive" i think... and it just hung there
