Help Picking a PSU

Hey All,

 

Trying to decide between the Corsair RM850x (2021) and the EVGA 850 P2:

The P2 has glowing reviews, but they're all from 2015 and I feel weird buying such an old model. The RM850x is obviously brand new, but the reviews seem to say "not as good as the 2018 model" which is of course sold out anywhere.

 

Any help?

rmx 2021 is just rmx 2018 with louder fan and with little improved effiency and other small things.

 

how much are the psus?

2018 rmx (microcenter nearby): $180

90$ more for a EVGA P2 ? No way. And EVGA P2 is 80+ Platinum, T2 is 80+ Titanium.

Are you sure you need a 850W PSU to start with ? What are your PC specs ?
