CPU fan

technum1

last week I had a real problem with the cpu fan making a right noise never had this before

yet at teh same time my visuals i.e my TV was on the blink

power supply issues where 2 capacitors had blown  in it 1500 mikes at 10V

so I replaced them with 1500 mikes at 25 V

yes I know the power increase should spell disaster but this is just something to remember voltage above not below

after doing the repair the cpu fan no more noise

I am running an old am1  am1b-itx mother board

very strange it could have been that power flux was causing havoc on the VGA socket

thus causing the voltage over the moatherboard to be taken away because the MB had to compesate the power drop
