Swiftech H220 Pump problems?

Go to solution Solved by mvitkun,

I'd say RMA.

if it stopped working once,it might stop working again, and if next time it stops working outside the warranty you'll be F*cked,so just get it over with now lol.

Hello people

I have a Swiftech H220 that I have had running for 2-3weeks. Suddenly when I was gaming one day my computer shut itself down due to overheating CPU. After looking into the problem I can say for sure that the pump was dead silent.

I replaced it with my intel box cooler. to test if my CPU had taken damage, which it luckily did not.

the fun thing is that after a week of running the box cooler i decided to see if i could get my H220 up running....

and surprisingly it actually works...

has anyone had these kind of problems and do you think i should RMA it ?

RMA or eBay slightly used? ^__^ RMA is probably a good idea :)

I'm currently on my 3rd H220 since the other two have just died outright.

First one lasted 3 weeks and second only lasted a week

Thankfully Swiftech cross ships so I receive the replacement first

I've had the 3rd one for about a week not and hopefully this one will last...
